Police were called shortly after 10:00 p.m. to 24th and Federal Streets.
A man, believed to be in his early 40s, was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital. His identity has not been released.
There have been no arrests made and police are investigating to find the motive for the shooting.
