The accident happened around 5:00 a.m. in the 7200 block of City Avenue.
Police say a 20-year-old male driver lost control of his car, struck a light then flipped over onto its roof.
He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with multiple injuries but is listed as stable.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the driver to lose control.
