The study in the Journal Pediatrics says 30 children a day are treated in emergency rooms for various injuries, including broken bones and concussions.
The number of children 17 and younger who were treated in the emergency room for bounce house injuries were 11 times higher in 2010 than1995.
Most injuries involve children falling or colliding with other kids.
Several accidents occurred last year when bounce houses collapsed or were lifted by high winds.
The study also suggests that a better design and guidelines may help to prevent injuries and keep children safe when using the bouncy house.
