Officials say two cars collided in the westbound lanes of the bridge around 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
The driver of the overturned vehicle was transported to the hospital with injuries.
The overturned vehicle blocked two lanes of westbound traffic and a portion of the eastbound lanes during rush hour while emergency and crews worked to clear the scene.
The scene was finally cleared at about 8:25 a.m.
There is no word on what led to the crash.
