Wildlife santuary holds baby shower

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - April 22, 2013

About 700 people visited the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida over the weekend.

The baby shower collected supplies for the shelter like trash bags, paper towels and food.

Staff members say the contributions should carry them over until August.

The Pensacola News Journal reports this is the busiest time of year for the nonprofit.

Staff members work around the clock caring for baby birds, ducklings and other injured animals brought into the sanctuary.
