Police tell Action News the couple's son began arguing with them around 11:00 p.m. Friday in their home in the 2100 hundred block of Benson Street.
During the argument, the son pulled out a knife and lunged at his parents who tried to fight him off.
The son fled from the scene and was apprehended a short distance away at a local grocery store.
Officials say the husband and his wife were taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital for stab wounds to their hands and arms. They were both treated and released.
No word what sparked the argument.
The incident remains under investigation.
