Maple syrup used to vandalize Pottstown church

POTTSTOWN, Pa. - June 19, 2013

The crime happened at Saint Thomas More in Pottstown, Pennsylvania back on June 10th, just hours before a funeral service.

Investigators say the vandals got in through an unlocked door. They sprayed fire extinguishers throughout the church and poured maple syrup from the pantry all over the kitchen floor. They also stole a bottle of wine.

Since the incident the church has been thoroughly cleaned.

No arrests have been made.
