Meter parking will be free each Saturday through Christmas.
The Philadelphia Parking Authority will not ticket drivers for unpaid meters after 11:00 a.m.
The PPA will also reduce rates at six parking garages each Saturday until Christmas between 11:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. The reduced rate will be $8.
Drivers are reminded that if they enter a garage after 5:00 p.m., the regular posted rates will apply.
