1 injured in Bordentown truck stop stabbing
BORDENTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A fight ended in the stabbing of a 41-year-old man in Bordentown, Burlington County on Friday.
It happened just after 9 a.m. at the Petro Truck Stop along the 400 block of Rising Run Road.
When the police arrived they found Paul Stephens, Jr. of Decatur, Georgia suffering from multiple stab wounds to his stomach and chest.
He was rushed into surgery at the Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.
Stephens is listed in critical condition.
Police say a co-worker, 41-year-old Christopher Teeter of Wilmington, N.C. is accused of the stabbing following an argument.
Teeter has been charged with criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon and committed to the Burlington County Jail.
Teeter will face a detention hearing in the near future in Superior Court in Mount Holly.
