WATERFORD TWP., New Jersey (WPVI) -- An overturned sand truck has prompted a hazmat response in Waterford Township, New Jersey.
It happened around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday on the White Horse Pike westbound ramp to Route 73 southbound.
The overturned tractor-trailer spilled its load of sand and fuel, according to police.
The driver was injured after being trapped in the vehicle. There has been no word on his condition at this time.
Hazmat crews were called to the scene.
The crash has since been cleared and the ramp is back open after being temporarily closed.
