PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people were taken into police custody after a car meetup in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood on Saturday night.
It happened just before 10 p.m. at Torresdale and Adams avenues.
Authorities arrested 19-year-old Chase Possert and 33-year-old David Wyche, charging them with reckless endangerment and several other offenses.
Police responded to reports of drivers performing burnouts.
While fleeing the scene, Possert reportedly collided with a police cruiser, but the officer was unharmed.
Another patrol car was damaged when someone threw a bottle of tequila, cracking its windshield.
Four additional 17-year-olds who were in Possert's car received citations and were released.
In a separate incident at the same location, officers encountered a vehicle involved in street racing.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Wyche, was arrested for Reckless Driving and Conspiracy.
