NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Police were on the scene of a violent home invasion in New Castle, Delaware.
The incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. Thursday on the unit block of Morris Road.
Police say the suspect broke into the home, and shot a 28-year-old man in the chest.
That person was rushed to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.
A second person, a 23-year-old man was beaten. He suffered injuries to his face.
The bandits fled the scene on foot.
It's not clear what was taken from the home.
Detectives are asking anyone with surveillance equipment or information to contact the New Castle County Police at (302) 573-2800.
Up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
