Suspect sought in armed robbery of Abington 7-Eleven

ABINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Montgomery County are searching for a gunman who held up a 7-Eleven convenience store.

The robbery occurred just after 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the store on the 1800 block of Old York Road in Abington.

Police say the man went to the counter to buy something and that's when he pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

The employee put cash into the robber's duffel bag and he ran off.
