Man, 70, stabbed in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a 70-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed in West Philadelphia.

The incident happened before 4 a.m. Tuesday on the 5100 block of Brown Street.

Medics treated the victim for a stab wound to the abdomen before taking him to the hospital.

Police have made no arrests or said a motive for the stabbing.

The victim's name has not been released.
