It's the free food, fun and fireworks edition of freebie Friday!

FREE HOAGIES

Thursday July 2 is Wawa Hoagie Day with free hoagies to feast on at Independence Mall. As part of the Wawa Welcome America festivities, Wawa is handing them out in honor of local and national heroes from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Market Street between 5th and 6th streets.

FREE MUSEUM ADMISSION

Also part of the Wawa Welcome America festivities, starting Monday June 29, 4 museums are offering free admission! Every day through July 2, a different museum will offer free admission to guests, starting with the Franklin Institute.

FREE MOVIES

On June 29, Philly @ The Movies presents a free screening of Disney's "Big Hero 6" at Franklin Square, Tuesday it's Annie at "Dilworth Park", and Wednesday they will show "Rocky" on the Art Museum Steps.

FREE CONCERT AND FIREWORKS

Saturday night, as part of the Tall Ships Festival, the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing is hosting a free concert from The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own," at 8 p.m. followed by fireworks.

Also at the Great Plaza, next Thursday July 2, the Philadelphia Orchestra will perform for free at 8 p.m. The performance will also be followed by fireworks.

FREE FOOD

The 40th Street Summer series at 40th and Walnut Streets is back Saturday with free performances, Ben and Jerry's ice cream, Philly pretzels and more. At 6 pm, Ballet X will take the stage, along with other performers.
