Michael Doyle Lane

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A Camden Street has a new name, and it's well-earned.

Mayor Dana Redd unveiled Michael Doyle Lane Monday.

It's taking the place of Jasper Street, in front of Sacred Heart Church.

Monsignor Doyle has led that church since 1974.

For a half century, this Irish immigrant has made it his mission to improve civil rights.

He's also been a teacher in the Camden diocese schools.
