Serious crash closes road in Egg Harbor Township, NJ

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a serious crash in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County.

It happened before 5:00 p.m. Thursday in the 5000 block of Spruce Avenue.

At least one person was seriously injured.

There was no immediate word what led to the crash.

Spruce Avenue was closed near the accident scene for several hours as police investigated.
