Tractor-trailer overturns on NJ Turnpike in Gloucester County

WOOWICH TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- An overturned tractor trailer slowed traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike in Gloucester County Friday morning.

It happened before 8:30 a.m. Friday in the southbound lanes, south of exit 2 near milepost 8.3.

Police told Action News the driver of the big rig was not seriously injured.

Motorists were being detoured around the scene immediately following the crash.

Traffic was getting by in the right and left shoulders before crews were able to right the truck and clear the scene.
