Firefighters rescue deer from icy lake in Colorado

EVERGREEN, Colo. (WPVI) -- Firefighters came to the rescue of a deer stuck in an icy lake in Evergreen, Colorado.

Footage shows two crew members breaking through the thin ice of Evergreen Lake to get the deer to safety, as witnesses cheer them on.

According to Storyful, Evergreen Fire Rescue took the opportunity to warn the public about thin ice around lakes, creeks and ponds.
