1 injured in apartment blaze in Westville, N.J.

WESTVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- One person was injured in a blaze inside a property that housed apartments in Westville, New Jersey early Friday morning.

The fire broke out just before 1:00 a.m. on the 300 block of Summit Avenue.

The flames started inside a bedroom on the first floor and spread.

A resident suffered smoke inhalation and four others were displaced.

The Red Cross arrived on the scene to assist the residents.

So far, no injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
