Outback is out of PNC Park
PITTSBURGH (AP) - December 3, 2007 The Outback restaurant has been located behind the left field bleachers since the park opened in 2001. Pirates president Frank Coonelly says the team and the restaurant agreed to make the change.

The new restaurant will be similar to the Chop House at Atlanta's Turner Field. That restaurant has a bar and overlooks the playing field

The Outback restaurant is offering jobs to all of its PNC Park employees at four other Pittsburgh-area restaurants.

The Pirates plan to open the new restaurant in time for the 2008 season.
