Needle-free flu vaccine in works

There may be a new option coming in flu vaccines. No needles, not even nasal sprays.

Scientists in South Korea are reporting success with a vaccine given under the tongue, instead of as a shot in the arm.

In tests with mice, the experimental vaccine not only boosted the immune system, it prevented the flu virus from getting into the nervous system.

That's a rare but dangerous flu complication in humans.
