10 injured as van strikes crowd

Authorities say at least 10 people were injured when a vehicle plowed into a crowd at a suburban Chicago auto auction. Three people are reported in serious condition, and all of the victims have been transported to hospitals.

Crestwood Fire Department Lieutenant Christopher Burke says the accident happened at the Tri-State Auto Auction in Crestwood at about 11:45 a.m.

Police are investigating. There's no immediate word of what caused the crash in the suburb southwest of Chicago.
