NJ teacher charged with sex assault of 2 students
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - March 20, 2008 Cape May County prosecutors say Paul Schirmer inappropriately
touched two Middle Township students under his supervision. One of
the incidents allegedly happened inside an elementary school.
Paul Schirmer has been charged with two counts of sexual assault
and two counts of endangering children.
Schirmer is suspended from the school without pay, pending an
ongoing investigation.
He is being held at a Cape May County jail in lieu of $50,000
bail.
Prosecutors don't yet know if he has retained an attorney.
