Twenty-two-year-old Roy Joseph Benson pleaded guilty in December to one count of possession of child pornography.
While in court yesterday, Benson apologized to the victims of child pornography, their families, the court and society.
Besides the two years and 10 months in prison, District Judge Sue Robinson ordered Benson to register as a child sex offender.
