Police say 23-year-old Michael Berardinelli confronted the man in a Lewes parking lot early Sunday morning. According to police, the victim was stabbed six times in the chest and stomach, but drove himself to Beebe Hospital.
Detectives interviewed the man at the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Police believe the fight was about a woman.
Detectives went to Berardinelli's home and found bloody clothing and a knife.
