6abc, the official television broadcast partner of the Philadelphia Eagles, is gearing up for another blockbuster year of all things Birds. 6abc will have six Eagles games this season - including a prime time holiday matchup on Thanksgiving night! With three preseason games, three regular season games (including the NFL Network simulcast on Thanksgiving Day), The Donovan McNabb Show (in HD), and Eagles Football Frenzy presented by Sovereign Bank, 6abc is the undisputed home of Philadelphia's favorite sports franchise. This Thanksgiving, it's all things birds?and we're not just talking turkey! Shaping up to be a truly incredible day for the city of Philadelphia and 6abc, the holiday starts off with America's richest parade on Thanksgiving, The 6abc / Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade. And after everyone has had their fill of turkey and treats, they'll feast their eyes on 6abc as the Eagles take on the Arizona Cardinals. 6abc President & General Manager Bernie Prazenica is particularly excited about this battle of the birds. "Having an Eagles game on the same day as the 6abc Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade gives us a blockbuster lineup on the holiday", says Prazenica. "And we're delighted to make the game available to those Eagles fans that don't have the NFL Network in their household."

The 6abc / Eagles season kicks off on Friday, August 8th, as the Birds hit the turnpike to face in-state rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. 6abc will start the night with a preseason special at 7pm, followed by kickoff at 7:30. On Friday, August 22nd, the Birds fly north to face Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and the Patriots. The preseason wraps up on Thursday, August 28th, as the Eagles host the Jets.

The regular season schedule includes three primetime battles, with two Monday Night Football games & the holiday showdown on Thanksgiving. In Week Two, the Eagles travel to Dallas to take on everybody's favorite former Eagle, Terrell Owens. On Thanksgiving, the Eagles play host to the always-dangerous Arizona Cardinals. And on December 15th, the Eagles look to freeze the Browns, in the second Monday Night Football game on 6abc. Kickoff on Thanksgiving is set for 8pm. The Monday Night Football games kick off at 8:30pm, but 6abc will get the action started at 8pm, with a 30-minute pre-game special.

6abc is also the only place to catch the Eagles' weekly programs: The Donovan McNabb Show and Eagles Football Frenzy presented by Sovereign Bank. The Donovan McNabb Show airs Saturday nights after Action News at 11, and this season the program is broadcast in HD! The premiere of The Donovan McNabb Show will be Saturday, September 6th. Eagles Football Frenzy, hosted by Action News' Sports Director Gary Papa and Eagles Linebacker Omar Gaither, can be seen game-nights right after Action News at 11. Gary and Omar will fire up the Frenzy on Sunday, September 7th.**
