Man on log pulled from river

Wilmington police pulled a man from the Christina River tonight. The Action Cam was on the banks of the river off Market Street shortly after 6:15pm.

That's where the man, believed to be homeless, was floating down the river holding onto a log. His sneakers were atop the log. The man drifted nearly a mile to the Winchester bridge before police, who were on a boat, jumped in an removed the man from the water. The man was treated by medical personnel along the riverbank.
