The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center says the release of the turtles named Snap, Crackle and Pop, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cape Charles.
Aquarium officials say Snap, Crackle and Pop were rescued last month from the cooling water intake canal of a nuclear generator station by the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, New Jersey. They came to Virginia Beach in mid-July.
