Architect Andrew Dewberry and a crew of friends had to tear down his pirate ship tree house.
Dewberry explained to his two boys their tree fort didn't meet local zoning regs and had to go. A judge admired the workmanship and even the plastic cannons, but ruled it was in violation.
The pirate ship tree house isn't total loss. Dewberry says it's being auctioned off.
