WILMINGTON, Del. - October 27, 2008
At approximately 11:10 police responded to the area of 27th and Washington Street on a report of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival officers searching the area located a black male lying in the 400 block of West 27th Street unresponsive with multiple gunshots.
New Castle County Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Detectives are currently gathering evidence and canvassing the area for witnesses.
The victim's body was turned over to the Medical Examiners Office.
So far no word on suspects or motive.
