Three people were injured. One man was hit with a falling light, while two women were hit with falling ceiling fans.
All of the injuries were minor.
Voting was suspended for about half an hour while the debris was cleaned up, then voting resumed.
Voters told the watchdog group The Committee of Seventy that there were also snakes at the polling place.
