Del. prosecutor charged with drunken driving

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - November 13, 2008 The charging documents say blood drawn from 51-year-old Donald Roberts showed his blood alcohol level was 0.33, more than four times the state's legal limit. An empty liquor bottle was found on the passenger-side floorboard of his car.

The car had veered off Route 7, north of Route 71, and struck two mailboxes before coming to a stop.

Roberts could not be reached for comment Wednesday.

Attorney General Beau Biden recently named Roberts to head the Child Predator Unit. A spokesman at Biden's office says Roberts is no longer in charge of the unit.

A hearing is scheduled for Roberts next month in Justice of the Peace Court.
