Negotiations for a new contract between SEPTA and the Transport Workers Union Local 234 continue, but union workers have decided not to walk off the job at the midnight deadline on March 14th.

Union President Willie Brown told SEPTA about the decision Wednesday.

There will be no interruption of SEPTA service this weekend, or in the immediate future according to the agency.
