1 injured in store robbery, shooting

Police in Philadelphia are investing a robbery and shooting that has left one store employee injured this afternoon. It happened at around 11:00 a.m. morning at the intersection of North 12th and Parrish Streets in the city's Poplar section.

There, a point-of-gun robbery occurred at Mom's Market located on at 812 North 12th Street. Gun shots were fired during the robbery and grazed one employee in the head.

The 69-year-old worker was transported to Hahnemann Hospital in stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are searching for two male suspects between the ages of 20 - 25.

Both are about 6' tall and one has a heavy beard.
