Police say the Wine and Spirits at the intersection of Red Lion and Academy Roads in the Morrell Park section of the city was the scene of the robbery Saturday morning.
The male suspect was able to flee with around $17,000. Witnesses told he fled the scene in a green Chevy minivan with a North Carolina license plate on Red Lion Road toward Knights Road.
Police were able to catch the suspect, who was then positively identified by witnesses.
Detectives continue to investigate.
