Dozens of evacuated dogs still need homes

HUNTING PARK - April 20, 2010

The dogs were evacuated from the PSPCA's Erie Avenue shelter two weeks ago after an infectious disease was found.

They were moved to a nearby garage while the shelter was cleaned, and can't be moved back because of cross-contamination concerns.

Now there are 33 dogs left waiting in small cages, hoping someone will find it in their heart to take them home.
