The school was placed on lockdown around 9:00 a.m. because of police activity.
Authorities say they were investigating a robbery in progress in the area of the school.
It is unknown if the school was placed on lockdown because of a specific threat or if it was merely a precaution.
However, the lockdown was lifted after 30 minutes.
No one was hurt.
