Saving by purchasing with a group

Here's how to save on all kinds of things by purchasing with a group.

Back in September of last year, I first told you about this website: Groupon.

It's just one way to save big bucks with other people by using your collective bargaining power!

Take a look at some of the recent deals:

Half-off a mani-pedi and paraffin wax at Rejuvalux Salon

Half-off your order at Couch Tomato which has great salads, pizzas, and wraps

A $260 auto detailing job for just $99.

Groupon has also had amazing deals on hotels, personal training sessions, wine classes, and bowling fees!

And now I've found another group buying website.

This one's called Social Buy and check out this social deal for Philadelphia. Two tickets to Lady Gaga's sold-out concert below market price. Just $188 for the pair. Not bad, right?

Social Buy's just getting started in Philadelphia, but check it out for more deals to come.

And here's a group buying website that sells a new product every day. It's called Woot. Here's an example of a daily deal: A new 32-gigabyte USB flash drive for $39.99!

And these group buying websites are really exploding.

Amy Buckman has also told you about Living Social and Jasmere.
