It happened at the restaurant at the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Hendrix Street in the Somerton section of Philadelphia.
The driver, who investigators say is around 80 years old, was taken to the hospital.
Police say he hit something which went flying into the side of the Burger King.
There is no word on if any bystanders or customers were hurt.
The driver's identity has not been released.
