The fire broke out shortly before 9:00 a.m. in the 500 block of Middle Road in Hilltown Township.
Two people, both adults, were found dead.
There is no word yet on the identities of the victims.
However, before the bodies were found, firefighters were investigating reports of two elderly people inside the home.
The cause of this fire remains under investigation.
The Red Cross said it was assisting one person in the aftermath of this blaze.
