It happened around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 5500 block of Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia.
When officers arrived, they found a 75-year-old man who was the victim of an assault.
Witnesses tell Action News that two young men just walked up to the victim and pounced.
The 75-year-old was then robbed of about $20.
He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in an unknown condition.
