Three new Silverliner Five regional rail cars are due to arrive at Suburban Station in Center City, shortly before 9:30 Friday morning.
A special celebration will be held on Track Zero.
The new cars come with plasma monitors and easier access for people with disabilities.
SEPTA has ordered 120 Silverliner cars at a cost of $274 million.
