The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on the southbound lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard near Pratt Street.
The man was trying to cross the center lanes of the boulevard when he was struck by an oncoming car.
The force of the crash embedded the victim into the windshield. He was removed and rushed to a nearby hospital.
The driver stopped at the scene. There is no word on any charges at this time.
