Officials say the bodies were found Wednesday at the Days Inn in Somerset after staff members checked the room because an individual had not checked out at the proper time. The names of the victims, who were not from the area, have not been released pending notification of their relatives.
Police Chief Randy Cox declined further comment on how the two died or how long they had been dead before the bodies were found. He said such questions would have to wait until after an autopsy scheduled for Thursday. The (Somerset) Daily American says Cox also declined comment on the relationship between the two people.
