Firefighters continue dousing hot spots after flames engulfed a warehouse overnight.

The fire hit the U.S. Supply warehouse along the 2100 block of Marne Highway in Hainesport, N.J. The company sells plumbing supplies.

People who live nearby told Action News that they heard an explosion at about 3 a.m.

Firefighters from several departments from around the region responded and found flames shooting out of the roof the warehouse. The battle against the fire also forced the teams to get water from Rancocas Creek nearby. The flames were not declared under control until roughly 5:30 a.m.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed that the warehouse was gutted. Only a few exterior walls of the building appeared to be standing, but most of the interior of the building was a charred mess.

Some nearby homes appeared to be unaffected by the flames. No firefighters were injured in the fire.

US Supply Company owns and operates 12 branches including a central headquarters located in West Conshohocken.
