That's the motto of a new designer shoe rental website called Lifestyle for Lease.
You can rent shoes by designer, style, size, or occasion. Brands include uber luxury designers like Chanel, Prada, and Christian Louboutin, as well as more affordable designers like BCBG Girls and Guess.
You can pay to become a member of Lifestyle for Lease to get rental discounts. But you can also rent shoes as a non-member.
Non-members pay $19 to rent shoes for 3 days from the least expensive category. You'll pay $150 for 3 days to rent super high-end brands.
That does seem expensive, but consider that a lot of these shoes would normally cost $1000 or more per pair to buy.
For higher fees you can also rent shoes for one week to a month.
Some people might be grossed out at the idea of putting on shoes worn by someone else. So just so you know, Lifestyle by Lease does have a disinfecting policy.
The company says, "100% germ free and environmentally friendly chemicals sanitize our footwear after each use. Each pair is re- polished, soles are reconditioned, heel tip (if needed) are replaced and a deodorizer is used. After our 6 point sanitary condition inspection shoes are then shipped to customers."
