Firefighter reported to the scene just before 5:00 a.m. Friday on the 6100 block of W. Oxford Avenue in West Philadelphia.
Residents were evacuated from the 4-story building as firefighters extinguished the fire.
There are no reports of injuries.
The fire was brought under control at 5:29am.
So far, there is no word on injuries or a cause.
There is no word on when residents will be allowed back inside.
