You can either build a frame to the specific size you want for the space or buy a prestretched canvas at your local art or discount store.
Choose a fabric with pattern or color scheme that compliments your décor.
Lay the fabric out flat and lay the frame on top of it. You need enough overlap to wrap up the sides and around the back of the frame. Trim the sides to the correct size.
Iron the fabric to remove all wrinkles. A spritz of spray starch will ensure that the fabric lays flat and it will give it a little more body so it sits nicely on the frame.
Lay the fabric right side down and lay the frame on top of the fabric.
Start with the two shorter ends and secure the fabric to the frame with a staple gun. Next, move to the longer ends and repeat.
As for the corners, fold them neatly on the back and secure them in place.
Use a utility knife to trim any excess fabric from the edges of the frame so you can't see any shadow from the front.
That's all there is to it, a great fabric wall art panel, I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
