WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - October 3, 2011
Detectives arrested 31-year-old Gregory Griffin near Elkton,
Md., at a relative's home. He is being held awaiting extradition.
According to reports, officers found the victim lying on a
sidewalk unconscious about 7:50 p.m. Sunday. She was admitted to
Christiana Hospital in serious condition with severe head injuries.
Police say witnesses told officers that the woman had been
assaulted by Griffin, her ex-boyfriend.
